Since the finale of last years ’24: Live Another Day’ speculation has been in overdrive in regards to if we will be seeing a new series or not. And whether it will include Jack Bauer.
Yesterday one of those questions was answered when Fox Boss Gary Newman confirmed reports that a new series was in development.
Speaking to TV Line Newman said that there is “nothing immediate” on the horizon, but added: “We have been developing another version of 24, but it’s still very early in the process.
“There’s nothing we could tell you at this time other than we are working on something.”
Reports came out earlier this year that the Network was talking about doing a series without Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer, but Fox later revealed that they’d do a series built around the Jack Bauer character if Sutherland wished to return.
