It seems that we could very well be seeing another season of ‘X-Files’ if the latest tweets from David Duchovny are anything to go by.
Despite the somewhat medeocre reception from fans of the last season. That Fox maybe looking at doing another season of the cult show.
The latest hint at more X-Files comes courtesy of a birthday tweet for Gillian Anderson – sent by the ever-cheeky David Duchovny, of course.
Happy Birthday, Gillian. If you see Dana, tell her Fox says she might wanna polish up the ol’ badge soon-ish. Love, D

The word Soon-ish suggests that Fox are strongly behind bringing the show back for another year.
While Fox Broadcasting president David Madden admitted he’d “love to do another season” of The X-Files, there was no actual commission. Could this latest tweet from Duchovny be an indicator of a future announcement maybe. I guess the Truth Is Really Out There!
