It seems that the powers that be over at Marvel Studios have confirmed that Thor, Starlord and even Rocket Raccoon will be appearing in the much anticipated The Avengers: Infinity War movie with Part one set to be released in May of 2018.
But much to the delight of many Marvel fans, Benedict Cumberbatch’s and his alter ego Doctor Strange, which is set to be released this coming November 2016, will also be appearing in the upcoming Infinity War crossover film along with a huge cast of Marvel characters according to Cosmicbooknews.com.
Infinity War writers, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely reportedly confirmed Cumberbatch’s involvement in the huge project in a recent podcast with McFeely saying, “You’ll do movie one in the morning, and then movie two in the afternoon . . .” before continuing on, “It’s because there are so many movie stars. Like the scheduling has got to be a nightmare. You can’t just say ‘Benedict Cumberbatch’ – or whoever – ‘come to Atlanta for nine months.’ You know. It can’t work that way.”
While Part One to the Infinity War saga is set to be released in May of 2018, Part two of the Avenger’s: Infinity War movie will be released in May of 2019, with both movies being shot back to back.
