‘Dexter’s’ Christian Camargo snags guest role in season 3 of ‘Elementary’

The actor is to play Joan Watson's (Lucy Liu) old flame and former medical colleague, Chris.

Christian-CamargoCristian Canargo, who is best known for his role in ‘Dexter’ is to return to the crime solving genre for a guest stint in the third season of CBS Televisions Sherlock Holmes series ‘Elementary’.

The actor is to play Joan Watson’s (Lucy Liu) old flame and former medical colleague, Chris.

According to TVLine, the former couple’s old feelings will return when Chris reaches out to Joan for help.

Camargo will likely make his first appearance in episode 7 of the series, which is due to start its third year on CBS in a few weeks time.

English actress Ophelia Lovibond will also appear in the CBS drama’s third season as Kitty Winter, Sherlock’s new protégé.

Meanwhile, Gina Gershon and Raza Jaffrey have joined the cast as well ahead of the new season.

Elementary returns to CBS on Thursday, October 30 at 10/9c.
