CW have released the first promotion image (Pictured Above) for their ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ spin-off series ‘Legends Of Tomorrow’.

Arthur Darvill (Rip Hunter), Ciara Renee (Hawkgirl), Victor Garber (Dr Martin Stein), Brandon Routh (The Atom), Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold) and Dominic Purcell (Heatwave) all appear in the first-look image.

Also featured is Caity Lotz who will play The White Canary – following the death of her character Sara Lance on ‘Arrow’.

The official synopsis for ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ reads: “When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends.”Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-travelling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself.”Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?”

Apparently the team will be taking on Vandal Savage when the series starts. In the meantime check out the shows trailer below:

The DC Comics adaptation will launch as part of The CW’s midseason schedule, meaning it will premiere in early-to-mid 2016.
