CW Moving Forward With A Reboot Of ‘Tales From The Darkside’

The remake of the series is being penned by Stephen King's son Joe Hill

CW are developing a reboot of the cult anthology series ‘Tales From The Darkside’.

The remake of the series is being penned by Stephen King’s son Joe Hill and also has the ‘Star Trek’ writing team of Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci on board as executive producers.

The original anthology series aired in syndication from 1984 to 1988, based on an idea by iconic horror filmmaker George A Romero.

Hill’s version is being envisioned as a one-hour drama, with a targeted air date set for next season.
