Titan to bring the hit stop-motion superhero animated comedy series from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios to comics in 2017

(2 September 2016) Titan Comics is excited to announce that Crackle’s “SuperMansion,” the hit stop-motion animated comedy series from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios with Bryan Cranston (Trumbo, “Breaking Bad”), Seth Green (Buffy, “Robot Chicken”), and Jillian Bell (“Workaholics”), as well as Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) and Chris Pine (Star Trek Beyond, Wonder Woman) who both earned Emmy nominations in the Character Voice-Over Performance category, is coming to comics!

For release in early 2017, this brand-new comic book series is based on the stop-motion superhero animated comedy series from Stoopid Buddy Stoodios. Since premiering on Crackle, the series has captured audiences with its playful, yet acerbic commentary on the superhero genre. “SuperMansion” follows the adventures of Titanium Rex (voiced by Cranston, who’s also the series’ executive producer) as he struggles to live with and fight alongside the Millennial-aged, often lackadaisical members of The League of Freedom.

“SuperMansion” has it all; playful, yet acerbic commentary on the superhero genre, a group of bungling caped crusaders called The League of Freedom and that age old struggle to stay relevant in a changing world!” said editor David Leach. “Titan are thrilled to be publishing SuperMansion comics and promise to bring the same level of wit, and humor to our series, or my name isn’t Jefferson McMinty.”

“I’m excited to get back into the world of comics with Titan and the characters we created for SuperMansion. It’s going to be a wild ride and I can’t wait to get started!” said Zeb Wells Co-Creator/Director/Writer/Executive Producer of “SuperMansion.”

The second season of “SuperMansion” is scheduled to make its return to Crackle in early 2017. You can binge-watch all 13 episodes of the first season on Crackle and download the uncensored digital version on October 10th or pick-up the DVD on October 11th from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

Titan’s SuperMansion series are set to debut in 2017. Keep watch on the skies for more about the creative team soon.
