Could We See An ‘Avengers’ & ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Crossover Movie In The Future

The two Marvel teams were expected to unite in order to take on Thanos in 'Infinity Wars', but it seems that Jeremy Renner who plays Hawkeye in the films has some doubts about this happening.

This is probably a question that fans have been asking for awhile.

It is an event that has already happened on several occasions in the comics, but could we eventually see a movie crossover with Marvels Avengers and Guardians movie universe?

The two Marvel teams were expected to unite in order to take on Thanos in ‘Infinity Wars’, but it seems that Jeremy Renner who plays Hawkeye in the films has some doubts about this happening.  At least not until after the two-part Avengers finale.

Appearing at Wizard World Chicago, Renner quipped that fans will be in their old age by the time an Avengers/Guardians movies comes around.

“There’s already a lot of people in the Avengers, you want more?!” he said. “Chris Pratt, I love that guy. I love what they did with Guardians actually, I thought that was one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time.”

“I think they’ll probably do another Guardians, we still have Avengers 3 and 4 to go. You’re gonna be eighty by the time that comes out, and I’m certainly not going to be Hawkeye. I’m going to be Dead Guy.”

Renner went on to add that his character will be siding with Steve Rogers in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and not with Tony Stark.

“It made sense to me,” he said, adding: “Maybe I switched sides!”
