Bryan Singer signs deal to direct ‘X-Men: Apocalypse

Various reports have already revealed that we will see younger versions of Cyclops, Storm and Jean Grey

There wasn’t really any doubt in regard to who would be directing ‘X-Men: Apocalypses,’ but for those who did doubt it. Bryan Singer has now sealed the deal and will direct the next X-Men movie.

The director finalised his deal with Fox yesterday for what will be his fourth time in the directors chair of the movie franchise that he kickstarted back in 2000 with the very first X-Men movie in the days when he was partnered with Tom DeSanto.

Various reports have already revealed that Apocalypses will feature younger versions of Cyclops, Storm and Jean Grey, as the X-Men take on a new enemy determined to bring about the end of humanity.

James McAvoy who plays the younger version of Professor X will now take over the role completely from Patrick Stewart and will be shaving his head for the next film.

Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult and Evan Peters have also been confirmed to be returning for the film.

X-Men: Apocalypse will be released on May 27, 2016.
