Ben Mendelsohn Being Looked At For Role In ‘Star Wars: Rogue One’

Ben Mendelsohn could be in the running for a role in the 'Star Wars' spin-off movie 'Rogue One'

The Wrap, has revealed that Ben Mendelsohn could be in the running for a role in the ‘Star Wars’ spin-off movie ‘Rogue One’, which pretty much sounds like it could be about a certain squadron of X-Wing Pilots.

If Mendelsohn secures the role, he will appear alongside Felicity Jones, who has already been confirmed for the Gareth Edwards-directed film.

‘Rogue One’ – which opens on December 16, 2016 – is a story that screenwriter Chris Weitz will set outside of the core ‘Star Wars’ saga, while retaining connections to its universe.

Meanwhile, Alexandre Desplat will work on the score for the film instead of John Williams, who will be busy working on music for ‘The Force Awakens’ and Episode VIII.
