BBC America have released 16 new images from this coming weekends episode of ‘Doctor Who’ in which The Doctor and Clara meet Robin Hood and help him defend old England from the Sheriff and Nottingham and the ‘Robots Of Sherwood’.
The episode looks like it could potentially be both epic and camp.
Synopsis: In a sun dappled Sherwood forest, the Doctor discovers an evil plan from beyond the stars, and strikes up an unlikely alliance with Robin Hood. With all of Nottingham at stake, the Doctor must decide who is real and who is fake. Can impossible heroes actually exist? Tom Riley (Da Vinci’s Demons) and Ben Miller (Death in Paradise, Primeval) guest star. Written by Mark Gatiss (Sherlock), and directed by Paul Murphy (Casualty), Robot of Sherwood premieres Saturday, September 6 at 9:00pm ET. Here in the UK we can expect to see the episode at around 7:30PM.
