Welcome to this slightly delayed episode, originally planned for July but postponed due to various obstacles.
In this episode, Marx and Ian dive into The Boys, specifically focusing on episodes 4 through 6. The show seems to tap directly into current political and social issues in the USA. Along the way, we briefly touch on Supernatural and our hope that Eric Kripke’s decision to end the series is respected, allowing The Boys to have a strong, satisfying conclusion.
We then discuss the now-canceled series Dead Boy Detectives and reveal why we believe it’s a cat that truly rules the universe—you’ll have to listen to find out more!
We wrap things up with conversations about Invincible and the series Evil, which Ian only recently discovered through Amazon, as it had flown under his radar.
So pull up a chair, crack open a beer, and join us in celebrating—or critiquing—these shows!
