J.J. Abrams gives fans first look at an X Wing that will feature in new ‘Star Wars’ films

Director J.J. Abrams has posted a new video to promote the ‘Force For Change’ competition, which is offering fans the chance to have a guest role in ‘Star Wars Episode VII’.

In the video, which is included below Abrams is standing in front of an X Wing Fighter, which we’ll get to see in action during the new film.

The colouring is a tad different from the gaudy battered red and grey X Wings that we saw in the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy, but the ship continues the retro battered look that many folks enjoyed about the various rebel ships saw throughout the classic trilogy.
