‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ Wins Gamescom Honor’s

Latest 'Star Wars' Game picks up multiple awards.

The recent new reveals of ‘Star Wars: Battlefront’ has certainly whipped up much excitement. Especially for those like myself that miss the dog-fighting space battle elements of the earlier ‘Star Wars’ games.

I’m not the only person that is excited for this games latest reveals, which took place at Gamescom last weekend. The fact is the game wowed attendees of Europe’s No. 1 GamesĀ  convention that much that it took home several Gamescom awards including best PlayStation console game, best PC game and best online multiplayer game as well as the coveted most wanted consumer award.

The most wanted consumer award is the most significant because of the huge number of gamers that attend Gamesom events on a yearly basis. The event attracts a wide range of gamers who game across multiple platforms.

Either way these awards are a good omen for those like myself that haven’t had opportunity to play any of the demos that were available at the conventions.

Watch this space for further news as the games release gets closer.
