Sigourney Weaver has teased a few plot details from the Neill Blomkamp production of ‘Alien 5’.
It was confirmed that Weaver was working with Blomkamp on a new ‘Alien’ sequel back in February.
When quizzed for some plot details about the new film by SiriusXM’s Town Hall Radio Weaver was very careful not to spill to much spoilage.
“Let’s just put it this way, we’ve found the host and it’s been embedded,” she hinted, before adding: “It’s gestated.”
One of the many production images on Blomkamp’s Instagram account is an image of a hybrid of a Xenomorph alien and Weaver’s character Ripley.
Blomkamp recently insisted that Alien 5 will not ignore the events of the last two franchise films, despite earlier calling his project a direct sequel to 1986’s Aliens.
