SFP-Now Featuring Aleks Paunovic

Aleks Paunovic chats with the SFP-NOW Podcast about his work on Continuum and his new movie project 'Numb'

This week we feature an exclusive chat with actor Aleks Paunovic who talks with us about his many acting roles in TV series such as IZombie & Continuum.

In the interview Aleks talks on how he went from doing stunt work to acting, which led to him making lots of contacts that led him to work in such projects as ‘Stargate’ and ‘Continuum’.

When asked about ‘Continuum’ Aleks said it was series creator Simon Barry that drew him to the role.

“What attracted me to the role was Simon Barry for one. Who created the show and I’m friends with.

“By coincidence my long time friend of 12 years – Victor Webster who plays Carlos on the show was another thing. I was a fan of the show and had I not knew them. I’d still be a fan of the show because it does such an amazing job of story telling.

“Simon has always said there was going to be a part for me and I said to Simon if it comes or not. It doesn’t matter I’m such a fan. Then I was offered the part of Rollins and I was suddenly part of that crew. Most of that crew are friends anyway. People like Ryan Robbins and Tye Olsen. So I was friends with most of them before Simon had put the series together.”

Alecks also chats with us about his new movie ‘Numb’ in which he both stars in and produces. The film had Aleks and the other actors working in extreme cold conditions, which proved to be a massive challenge to all concerned.
