"X Factor"

Charles Xavier certainly had the “X Factor”. Even amongst mutants, and their wonderful abilities, he was truly apart from the rest. Recently, SciFiPulse published Doctor Strange 2: X Men Link? The feature discussed the awesome Sir Patrick Stewart continuing his role as “Professor X”. That’s partly what inspired this week’s poem. That, and the fact that Professor X is simply just so awesome . . .

X Factor

Charles Xavier, bald and bold,

discovered what could be controlled

He found if he focused his mind,

there’s nothing that he could not find

There was not much, that with his skill,

that he could not command at will . . .

Speaking with others “silently”,

meant he would rule them psychically

But even though he was so smart,

his greatest strength lay in his heart

For gifted souls he built a school,

where true equality could rule

He bravely helped fight the good fight,

and strived for right, with all his might . . .

If Sir Patrick Stewart is the first of the X Men to officially be in the MCU, that will be awesome! Perhaps his vast abilities will be needed, to help Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch)? We may also see young Professor X again, too, and see James McAvoy in the role again. It’s always good to see the founding father of the X Men. Stay safe then, dear readers and we’ll see you all next Friday!
