May The Verse Be With You: Nom-Nom

Nom-Nom! Perhaps one of the most memorable aspects to the recent James Gunn movie, The Suicide Squad (2021). And, if you’ve seen it you can read our review of The Suicide Squad, now. Providing the voice of this incarnation of King Shark was the wonderful Sylvester Stallone! So, here we tried to capture his voice in this poem. Hopefully we successfully managed to do so exactly that . . .

Nom Nom

King Shark hungry,

need nom-nom,

urge to eat – a

ticking bomb

I can’t help it,

fill tummy;

human beings

so yummy

But King Shark learn

no eat friend –

when he try to

it offend

But when make friends

they try eat me

It make me sad

and angry

Now have new friends

me no bite;

King Shark happy –

we no fight!

Recently we also published Queen of Clowns, a tribute to the fantastic fan-fave, Harley Quinn. But, we were hungry for more Suice Squad characters – Nom-Nom! See you next Friday, readers!
