‘The Brolly Squad’, is of course a tribute to the wonderful characters in The Umbrella Academy. You can read our review of the latest season of The Umbrella Academy – Season Three. The show is truly all about the great characters, and here the main ones are all there! Of course, they were all in the comics before they were on the small screen.
Brolly Squad
Luther’s body is massive,
although he has a tiny head;
Klaus’s super-power is
that he can talk to the dead . . .
By just saying a few words,
Alison can rumour you
Diego has perfect aim,
Vanya’s eyes flash, and turn blue
Five hops through the universe,
and sees what needs to be done,
whilst Ben’s squid-like tentacles
are cool and truly lots of fun . . .
Over foes they ride roughshod –
there’s only one brolly squad!
It’s not been confirmed that there will be a fourth season of The Umbrella Academy. However, it’s highly likely that there will be, and probably more after that, too. Their popularity hasn’t waned, despite Season Three being delayed by the pandemic. So, it seems that ‘The Brolly Squad’ will indeed rain for a while yet! See you next Friday, readers . . .
