‘Breaking the Code’ is a tribute to this year’s absolute blockbuster, Free Guy (2021). Furthermore, the movie was recently reviewed by SciFiPulse. If you haven’t yet seen it then you’re in for a treat. Ryan Reynolds is, as ever, utterly amazing, in the starring role. Also, Jodie Comer shows off her vast array of skills. We hope that we’ve captured the fun, and sheer emotion of this summer’s best film.

Breaking the Code

One day Guy’s life takes

a brand-new road

and love begins to

rewrite his code . . .

Guy in paradise,

day after day

only living life

the same old way

Then Molotov Girl

enters his world;

he finds new depths

and his soul’s unfurled

Soon, no more nice Guy,

time to kick ass;

it’s time for some fun

with guns and sass!

One huge adventure

means a new mode;

Guy’s new found freedom

breaks the old code!

The film really is about breaking the code, in so many ways. For example, the idea of love being able to transcend boundaries is explored. But mostly, it’s a cleverly written romp, that gives some truly memorable moments. This sort of film doesn’t come around very often. So, it definitely warranted immortalizing into a poem. Time to say bye now, until next Friday, dear readers. See you all then!
