This week May The Verse Be With You pays tribute to Rose Tyler (Billie Piper) with “Blooming Hell”. Rose (Billie Piper) was a very popular character when Doctor Who was relaunched in 2005. Rose had a great run as companion to the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant). We hope this poem manages to capture just how truly awesome she is . . .
Hide and Seek (Ode to Rose Tyler)
No other Rose
shines so brightly
and burns with so
much energy!
She’s no mere
delicate thing,
soon learning to
do anything . . .
The Doctor loved
Rose very much
but could not let
their two hearts touch
In a crisis
Rose does so well,
even Daleks think
blooming hell!
Finally, on
that fateful day
Rose found true love
at Bad Wolf Bay . . .

Maybe, just maybe, we’ll see Billie Piper return again to play Rose again. There are rumours she’ll appear in the upcoming 60th Anniversary celebrations. If she does, then fans will almost certainly say “blooming hell”. Billie Piper has certainly left a great legacy with Doctor Who fans. We’ll see you all next week Friday dear readers. Take care!
