Piella Bakewell wants her “bakers dozen”. The terrifying killer, voiced by Sally Lindsay, wants to murder thirteen bakers. She already has twelve . . . Piella sets her sights on Wallace (voiced by Peter Sallis). It’s down to Gromit to save Wallace and save the day. Piella (Sally Lindsay) is a truly iconic character in the Wallace and Gromit franchise.

A Baker’s Dozen

Piella bashes baker’s skulls right in,

her huge eyelashes hiding eyes of sin . . .

She had twelve but on just one more was keen,

and so, would not rest ’til she got thirteen!

Poor Wallace did not see danger at all,

(it doesn’t help he’s thick as a brick wall)

Love blinded Wallace to her evil way,

So, once more Gromit had to save the day

He hid the knives, part of his masterplan

to prevent her getting her thirteenth man!

Her soft demeanor truly terrifies,

and lures poor bakers’ straight to their demise . . .

The Bake-O-lite killer upon death fed,

Piella Bakewell — fills bakers with dread!

Piella might not be considered one of the “big” movie baddies of recent times. But May The Verse Be With You definitely rates her as a truly evil, cold villain! The fact she craves her “bakers dozen” is chilling enough. Furthermore, Piella’s methods of murder are also extremely dark, too . . .Take care dear readers. See you all next Friday . . .
