Matt Fraction’s ‘Sex Criminals’ To Be Adapted For Television

Matt Fraction and Chip Zdarsky’s saucy comic book series ‘Sex Criminals’ is being adapted for television.

‘Sex Criminals’ focuses on librarian Suzie and actor Jon, who decide to rob banks after discovering that their orgasms can freeze time.

The television adaptation comes as part of an overall deal signed by Fraction and Kelly Sue DeConnick with Universal Television.

Sex Criminals was launched by Image Comics as an ongoing series back in 2013.

The comic won critical acclaim by getting an Eisner Awards for Best New Series. It also got a nod for the best continuing series category as well.

Fraction consulted on the production of Iron Man 2 for Marvel.
