Inside Man

Synopsis: The team has managed to keep Sebastian Blood out of the reach of Mother Mayhem, but they have not accounted for the fact that she has an inside man.

The Story

Still working hard to keep Sebastian Blood out of the way of Mother Mayhem. The team has only six more hours left in which to keep Sebastian from joining up with Mother Mayhem’s cult and becoming Brother Blood. In an attempt to prevent Mother Mayhem’s magic from finding Sebastian. The team has hidden Sebastian inside a Silo at S.T.A.R. Labs and assigned Rachel to look after him given that she is also a child of Trigon. However when a giant snake somehow gets into the complex and attacks Tim and Bernard. Its proves to be the perfect distraction for Connor Kent to sneak into the Silo and tell Rachel that he has been asked to relieve her. However, the Titans are not aware that Connor is under the influence of Mother Mayhem via a snake bite he has on his side.

Realizing that something is not right with Connor. The team managed to sedate him after a little struggle and get Kory and Rachel to take Sebastian somewhere else while Dick, Gar and Jinx figure out a way to heal Connor and sever Mother Mayhem’s hold over him. Gar suggests that he turns himself into a virus and uses it to infect Connor in order to counter the effects of the giant snake bite.

The Acting

Joshua Orpin gives us a solid performance as a possessed Connor Kent. I loved the scene where he is trying to escort Sebastian out of S.T.A.R. Labs in order to hand him over to Mother Mayhem. We also get great performances from Teagan Croft and Joseph Morgan as Rachel and Sebastian Blood. As stated last week. They do a great job of selling this relationship of them practically being siblings.

Also loved the scene between Ryan Potter and Lisa Ambalavanar where Gar tells Jinx about the visions that he is having.

Overall

Another solid episode that furthers the story arc nicely. Some great character development for Gar as well as a newfound ability that could make for some fun in the future.
