Synopsis: With Brother Blood at full power and Conner left in critical condition, the Titans join forces to find and defeat Sebastian once and for all.

The Story

Having tossed Connor to one side in last week’s episode. Brother Blood sets about the process of summoning his father Trigon only to rip the heart from the beast and absorb it into himself for the ultimate power-up. Meanwhile, realizing that their plan to stop Brother Blood has ultimately failed. The Titans having rescued Connor set about trying to figure out another way of preventing the prophecy concerning Starfire from coming true. However, before they can come up with anything concrete. Brother Blood goes on a killing spree and breaks into Starlabs in order to open the Icurus Eye.

The Acting

As time is called on the Titans TV series. The actors all work really hard to bring this finale to a close. Once again Joseph Morgan rocks it as Sebastion Blood as we see him at the very edges of madness. Anna Diop gets to fulfill Starfires destiny as we see the unpreventable prophecy get played out but with a rather unexpected ending. Brenton Thwaites gets a lot of physical stuff to do as we see his character engage in the mother of all fight scenes with Brother Blood despite the futility of knowing that he’ll never win.

Overall

This episode works brilliantly as a finale as the Titans part ways knowing full well that they will be Titans Forever. But we do get left with a few things that could be picked up on in a comics run should DC Comics ever want a shot at continuing this iteration of the Super Group. As we get plenty of food for Spin-Off opportunities such as Connor Kent being taught to fly by Superman, Raven’s adventures at Bloodhaven University, and of course Gar’s adventures in The Red or Robin’s flitting between Gotham and Metropolis.

Overall. This was a really strong finale.
