The Story
Having reconnected with Chewbacca in the last issue. Han teams up with Chewie’s friend Thaedra and gets some payback on Greedo. Having got the location of the Millenium Falcon as well as the location of Jabba’s earn. Thaedra with help from Han and Chewie plans a daring heist to steal Jabba’s urn from Grand Moff Tarkin. But how do they plan to break into one of the most secure buildings in Coruscant? Well, someone has to take out the trash.
The Artwork
We get some great imagery throughout this issue. But my favorite moment comes at the very start of the book where we see Greedo flailing through the air as he has just been tossed out of the building by a rather upset Chewie. Thus begins a fun sequence where Han, Thaedra, and Chewie make Greedo spill the information that they need.
We also get some great moments on Coruscant especially when we see Han and Chewie wade through the sewers as they make their way to Grand Moff Tarkin’s quarters. But again the most fun imagery is when we see the gang leap out of a broken window in the hopes of catching a train. What is this thing that Star Wars and Han Solo have for trains of late? I’m so wanting to see a future story about a great train robbery.
David Messina does a solid job with the artwork and does a great job of capturing Grand Moff Tarkins likeness.
Overall
After having had several issues where Han and Chewie have been separated. It is somewhat of a relief to see the team back together again as the two characters really do compliment each other. The addition of Thaedra to the mix made for a little fun as well. Especially given that it means that Han is the one that is having to follow and not lead.
