Outgunned and outnumbered, Chewbacca makes a daring escape from prison!
Chewbacca

Synopsis: Outgunned and outnumbered, Chewbacca makes a daring escape from prison! Greedo is on the run, and you won’t believe who is after him!

The Story

Picking up from where the last issue left off. Chewie finds himself in prison and is on a death sentence. Thankfully he has a few friends on the inside who are helping him with a daring escape plan. Meanwhile, Han Solo has awakened on an alien world and sees that his old friend is in trouble via a video newscast. However, without his ship, he is unable to attempt a rescue. So he must try and obtain another ship somehow.

The Artwork

Paul Fry pulls off some brilliant artwork throughout this issue. My favorite moments are the panels, which show us in flashbacks what happened to Han. Basically, Greedo shot him, and the gang that stole the Falcon just dumped him on the planet where he got found.

I also loved the action beats that take place on the prison planet. Maz Kanata wielding a blast that is way bigger than her is a particularly fun image. But the best is saved for last when we see Han and Chewie reunited and go after Greedo.

Overall

Another fun issue That pushes the story on and finally reunites Han Solo and Chewbacca. Quite what will happen next is anyone’s guess. But Han and his best mate will have to get the Falcon back somehow and quite how that will happen remains to be seen. All that said Greedo is likely to end up on the short end of the stick somehow as Karma demands that Han and Chewie get a little payback. Which is something that has already begun in the final pages of this issue.

Overall this has been loads of fun and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
