Synopsis: THE KNIGHTS OF REN! Dengar is leading T’onga’s bounty hunter crew on a desperate attempt to break into the Crimson Dawn’s stronghold – and he’s also leading them into a trap! Meanwhile, Valance has found new purpose as Darth Vader’s secret weapon. But how far will he be willing to go to protect an Imperial officer from assassins?
Picking up from where the last issue left off. T’onga and her Bounty Hunters have been led to the Crimson Dawn’s stronghold by Denger. He’s led them straight into a trap where they have come up against The Knights of Ren who are still pissed off from their troubled mission at Darth Vader’s castle. To say that a big fight breaks out would be an understatement. But it’s a fight that has a degree of humor in it. As the scourge of the fighting pits, Tasu compares his muscles to the leader of the Knights who he battles with in order to buy Zuckuss and 4-Elom time to get the blast doors open.
Back on the ship. Losha prepares to defend herself against Vukorah who has escaped from her holding cell with some help from Dengar.
Meanwhile, Valance is thanked by a number of imperial troops for saving them from certain death. But his mood will definitely change when he finds out that his friends have potentially died during an attack on the Rebel Base where they were staying.
Paolo Villanelli brings a sledgehammer to a lightsaber duel as he draws an epic fight between Tasu and the leader of The Knights of Ren. The visuals for this are absolutely stunning as we see the two opponents circle each other like true predators. The visual of Tasu taking his shirt off was perfectly in time with the rather funny dialogue in which Tasu kind of called the leader of the Knights puny in comparison to himself.
Another fun issue. Which ends with T’onga having to show herself as the true leader that she is.
