Synopsis: FORLORN FOR 4-LOM! T’ONGA and her bounty hunters are desperate to recover 4-LOM for their mission…but the upgraded killer droid is the one hunting them aboard a ghost ship. Can ZUCKUSS survive a reunion with his onetime partner? Meanwhile, VUKORAH makes her move…and the criminal underworld will never be the same!
Picking up the story from last time. T’onga and the group have agreed to help Zuckuss find 4-LOM in the hopes that he can help them find Cadeliah before The Crimson Dawn do. Their quest takes them to The Wreck Bolt where they board an old Hutt ship. Knowing he is walking into a trap. Zuckuss follows a signal that 4-LOM has been transmitting. As he hopes to purge the programming that has overtaken his old friend.
Meanwhile, Vukorah follows through on her mission to take down the leadership of The Unbroken Clan so she can use all of its resources on behalf of Crimson Dawn.
Paolo Villanelli does some great work on this issue. I loved seeing the group together on T’onga’s ship at the start. The art has a painting-like quality to it, which works really well for some of the less action-orientated stuff. As for action. I loved the battle between Zuckuss and 4-LOM and how all of that played out. I also loved the series of panels that depict the events at the home of The Unbroken Clan.
A really strong issue that fleshes out the group dynamic between T’onga and her team a bit more. Admittedly, I missed seeing Valance. But am pretty sure he’ll be more prominent again in future issues.
The final page leaves us with a fun cliffhanger as we learn of a certain Bounty Hunter that Crimson Dawn is going to send after T’onga and her people. Things are going to get interesting in the next issue as we see a return for Dengar.
