Synopsis: DEATH BECOMES HER! As intrigue and violence swirl around them, Matt Murdock and Elektra Natchios are about to face the most intense conflict of their entire time as Daredevil…and it could be against one another!

The Story

Picking up from the previous issue, Matt is locked in a fierce battle with Wrath. Forced to play defense, Matt is trying to avoid hurting Jason, the child trapped inside the monster. After a tense and brutal fight, Wrath retreats—leaving with the clear intent of getting Matt angry.

Meanwhile, She-Hulk is trying to track down Foggy Nelson’s law partner, Cole, but she’s hitting a dead end. Cole has seemingly vanished. She informs Matt of this and also drops a bombshell: Matt still holds his license to practice law, which means he can continue to fight for Foggy in court. Stunned by the revelation, Matt decides to go on patrol as Daredevil to clear his mind. During his patrol, he calls Cole—only to have Foggy answer the phone instead. But something’s wrong: Foggy is possessed by Pride, and he challenges Matt to fight him in a courtroom, claiming it’s the only way to save both Cole and Jason.

Artwork

Aaron Kuder delivers impressive work in this issue. The panels depicting the fight between Daredevil and Wrath at the start were fantastic, capturing a strong sense of movement. I also appreciated how the artist portrayed the rain and how the conditions influenced the fight. One memorable moment shows Wrath taking a bite out of Daredevil’s armor, with the visible teeth marks remaining after the battle.

Overall

Overall, this issue is another solid entry in the series. The fight between Daredevil and Wrath at the start is a fantastic spectacle, but the real heart of the story lies in the middle. When Matt has a conversation with She-Hulk and learns he is still licensed to practice law, it sets up the story brilliantly. This revelation builds perfectly into the tense phone call at the end of the issue, leaving readers eagerly anticipating what comes next.
