‘Gotham’ is a show that has been improving much over the last year and much of that has been to do with the great villains.
In a recent interview talking for the forthcoming third season of ‘Gotham’. Executive producer John Stephens revealed that season 3 of the show will introduce even more villains to the show.
Stephens told CBR: “We’ll be seeing Mad Hatter in season 3. We’ll be seeing the Tweedle Brothers, too, if we’re going to bring the Hatter in.
“In line with the Court of Owls, we’ll be seeing Talon. And, we should be seeing Solomon Grundy.”
In the DC Comics. Mad Hatter is a scientist who uses a technological device to control peoples minds. This keeps his victims preoccupied while the Tweedle Brothers are actually cousins but often mistaken to be identical twins.
The character was inspired by Lewis Carroll’s novels ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’ and ‘Through the Looking-Glass’. Mad Hatters introduction to the show has already been teased by Hugo Strange in some of the recent episodes of season two.
Solomon Grundy is a zombified villain who has been featured in other superhero TV adaptations such as ‘Smallville’ and ‘Arrow.’ And assassin Talon’s connection to the Court is that he has been sent by them to assassinate Batman.
Gotham airs on Fox in the US and Channel 5 in the UK.
