‘Fantastic Four/X-Men’ Crossover Plans Are For Real!

The director, who is credited with having brought the 'X-Men' to the big screen has revealed that early talks about the possibility of such a crossover have been happening at the studio.

It is something that has been discussed over and over on the fan forums and it looks like we could soon see a realisation of those fan discussions because Bryan Singer has confirmed plans for a ‘Fantastic Four/X-Men’ Crossover film.

The director, who is credited with having brought the ‘X-Men’ to the big screen has revealed that early talks about the possibility of such a crossover have been happening at the studio.

Singer, who is currently filming ‘X-Men: Apocalypse,’ said of a possible crossover: “Those ideas are in play. That would be a natural match-up because they’re both ensemble films and there is a natural mechanism by which to do it.”

And one other exciting piece of news: “It deals with time,” Singer told Yahoo Movies of the potential movie. “That’s all I’m going to say.”

However it is not a sure thing. Singer pointed out that any crossover will all hinge on whether or not the new ‘Fantastic Four’ movie is successful or not.
Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four is due for release on August 6 in the US and August 7 in the UK.
