A new documentary looking at Roger Corman’s failed attempt to get a ‘Fantastic Four’ movie out in cinema’s is to finally get its release date.

The Roger Corman version of ‘Fantastic Four’ went largely unseen until a bootleg edition found its way onto youtube a few years back.

This documentary is appropriately titled ‘DOOMED!: The Untold Story of Roger Corman’s The Fantastic Four’ and is the result of a crowdfunding campaign.

For awhile. It looked like this movie was going to go the way of its subject matter. But it thankfully now has a release date and will likely prove more entertaining than last years NOT SO ‘Fantastic Four’ movie.

DOOMED! will be out on-demand on October 11, and on DVD on December 20.

For those that do not know. Roger Corman made a ‘Fantastic Four’ movie way back in 1994, but it never got released.  Corman made the film for 20th Century Fox, but on a very slim budget.

DOOMED! includes interviews with the cast, the filmmakers and more to uncover some of the mysteries behind this legendary production.
