ABC Green Lights ‘Time After Time’ Series

ABC gives a thumbs up for HG Wells Time Travel Adventure Series.

Back in September of last year it was reported that ABC Television were looking to do a television adaptation of ‘Time After Time’, which was favourite film of mine from the late 1970’s.

Well it has recently been revealed that ABC have given the official green light on the project.

According to Variety the series will use the original Karl Alexander novel as its jumping off point.

The series will centre on a young HG Wells and his Time Machine. Think a dash of classic Sherlock Holmes mixed with the more contemporary ‘Doctor Who’ mixed with a bit of ‘Warehouse 13’ and you have yourself the potential for a wonderful series.

The show is to be overseen by  Kevin Williamson (The Vampire Diaries, Scream, The Following) who is pulling the strings for Warner Television.

I just hope there is more science than fantasy. We already have The Librarians, we don’t need yet another warehouse 13
