Zachary Quinto Not Planning Return For New ‘Heroes’ Series

"No, I'm not going to go back," he said. "I talked to them about it, and Tim reached out to me when they decided they were going to do it. We had a great conversation."

Zachardy Quinto, who played Sylar in the original run of ‘Heroes’ has revealed that he has no desire to return to the villainous role, which pretty much made him a household name.

The actor who plays Mr Spock in the new ‘Star Trek’ movies told Buzzfeed that he’d prefer to focus on other projects.

“No, I’m not going to go back,” he said. “I talked to them about it, and Tim reached out to me when they decided they were going to do it. We had a great conversation.”

He continued: “It was such a meaningful experience for me – I loved that job, I loved those people. I just felt like I didn’t want to go back to it. Tim was very, very understanding. He was very understanding and supportive.”

Talking about the new series, he added: “I’m thrilled that they’re doing it, I’m thrilled that Jack Coleman is going back to it. And I know that they just cast Zach Levi, which is great. I mean, it’s a great thing to be a part of. I just felt like I need to cultivate other outlets for myself.”

Good. Quinto is awesome, but Sylar overstayed his welcome.
