At long last Sky Atlantic have revealed when they intend to start showing ‘Westworld’.

The series will premier on Tuesday 4 October at 9PM on Sky Atlantic and Now TV.

The new HBO series, which is loosely based Michael Crichton’s 1973 movie  stars Evan Rachel Wood, Anthony Hopkins, James Marsden and Ed Harris.

‘Westward’ is described as a “dark odyssey about the dawn of artificial consciousness and the evolution of sin, exploring a world in which every human appetite, no matter how noble or depraved, can be indulged”.

The series has been developed by ‘Person Of Interest’ creator Jonathan Nolan and is also being produced by J.J. Abrams. It is based on the movie of the same name by late author Michael Crichton.

‘Westworld’ also stars Ben Barnes and Thandie Newton.

The shows production was halted earlier this year due to Nolan wanting to make sure that the other scripts he needed to get through were as high quality as the pilot episode.
