‘True Blood’ actress Adina Porter joins CW’s ‘The 100’

Joining the cast for the shows second year will be Adina Porter who is best known for her role as Tara's troubled mother from the hit HBO series 'True Blood'.

One series that we didn’t cover as much as we’d like to have last year was the new CW series ‘The 100,’ which is a post apocalyptic series in which a 100 teenagers are sent back to an earth several hundred years after it has been made uninhabitable by nuclear war.

The series showcased a lot of young up and coming actors and had some great performances and character moments.

Joining the cast for the shows second year will be Adina Porter who is best known for her role as Tara’s troubled mother from the hit HBO series ‘True Blood’.

Porter will take on the role of Indra, a Grounder warrior, TV Line reports.

Her character is described as both regal and experienced.

The actress has previously appeared on the network in The Vampire Diaries and Ringer.

‘The 100’ will return to The CW on Wednesday, October 22 at 9/8c.

The first series of ‘The 100’ recently concluded its first season here in the UK on E4 and left us with an almighty compelling cliffhanger.
