One time travel show that we haven’t really paid to much attention to yet is ‘Timeless’, which sees a group of scientist having to go back in time to prevent the nefarious misdeeds of a criminal who has nicked a top secret time machine. A team headed up by a scientist, soldier and history professor are sent back in a prototype time ship to prevent the crook from doing any more harm and preventing him from changing America’s past.

‘Timeless’ is the brainchild of Erick Kripke and Shawn Ryan.

Recently a massive teaser dropped for the series as part of NBC’s TCA coverage for the forthcoming television season. Of course with ‘Timeless’ being centred on time travel we got to see an never ending array of different fashions and period dress.

The new promo sees the various cast members of the series go through a number of costume changes as they go from the 21st century to the early 20th. Thankfully these time travellers are well prepared and able to cull their various costume changes from a government stash. It would have been more fun to watch them pinch it off of someones washing line, but the folk at NBC would not want to encourage such nefarious acts.

Premiering Monday, Oct. 3 at 10/9c, Timeless stars Abigail Spencer (Rectify), Matt Lanter (90210) and Malcolm Barrett (Better Off Ted) as a historian, soldier and scientist tasked by the government with chasing after a criminal (ER‘s Goran Visnjic) who has stolen a time machine. To that end, the trio are outfitted with a… less-shiny, not-entirely-reliable “beta” version of the stolen vessel.
