Warner Bros television and Greg Berlanti Productions have chose Jamie Alexander to head up their new drama pilot ‘Blindspot.’

Deadline reports that Alexander will play Jane Doe, “a beautiful woman who finds herself at the center of an investigation after climbing out of a duffel bag in the middle of Times Square in New York City with her memory wiped and no clue as to what the extensive tattoos on her body mean.” As the FBI begin to trace the road map on Jane’s body, they uncover a “larger conspiracy,” while discovering the secrets behind Jane’s identity.

The script for ‘Blindspot’ is written by ‘Stargate: Atlantis’ Martin Gero and will be directed by Mark Pellington (U2 3D). The series will be produced by Greg Berlanti, who has done some fantastic work on shows such as ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’ for CW.

Alexander is also set to return to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD this season as Sif, following the ABC series’ midseason premiere on March 3.
