Third ‘Star Trek’ film to shoot in six months time

Zachary Quinto reveals that third 'Star Trek' movie could shoot in next six months.

Zachary Quinto has revealed that he could well be donning the ears again in six months time when work will likely get underway on the third ‘Star Trek’ movie in which he will play Mr Spock.

“I think it’s on the horizon,” Quinto said on NBC’s Today show.

“Things are rumbling, so I have a feeling that we will be in production sometime in the next six months.”

Roberto Orci – who co-wrote JJ Abrams’s two Star Trek films with Alex Kurtzman – is expected to direct the next outing for the USS Enterprise.

Quinto’s co-stars Chris Pine and Zoe Saldana are expected to be returning to their roles of Kirk and Uhura.
