Apparently BT’s YouView platform is to host a brand new UK version of AMC, which will most likely only be available to BT customers to begin with.

The new channel will be the home of zombie spin-off Fear the Walking Dead when it launches in September.

Delia Bushell, managing director of BT TV and BT Sport, said: “We’re delighted to be launching AMC for the first time in the UK.

“AMC has showcased some of the biggest and most celebrated series on US television in recent years, including Breaking Bad and Mad Men.

“We’re confident our viewers will enjoy AMC’s cinematic approach to storytelling.”

‘Fear The Walking Dead’ takes place in LA and is set before the Zombie Apocalypse.

The spin-off series has already been picked up for a second season.
