Jai Courtney who will play the role of Kyle Reese in ‘Terminator Genisys’ has revealed a little about the new series of films.

First off the actor said that he doubts this film will carry an R Rating in the USA, which means it will likely get a similar rating than the poorly received ‘Terminator Salvation’ got, which was PG13.

When asked to describe the new films Courtney described them as neither sequels or reboots.

“What I can say is that we start in a place we’re familiar with from the early films and then, you know, circumstances change. It somewhat shifts the course of events from that point,” he explained.

“It’s not necessarily a sequel or a reboot. I don’t even know how you brand it correctly. We’re not remaking one of the early Terminator movies. And it doesn’t necessarily carry on from the point where we left off.”

Terminator Genisys will be released next year on June 26 in the UK and July 1 in the US. Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke, JK Simmons and Matt Smith will all take on starring roles.

The actor also revealed that Arnold Schwarzenegger will most likely be in all three of the new movies.
