'Super girl's' Melissa Benoit Meets 'Wonder Woman' Lynda Carter

The epic meeting that all of girl power has been waiting for happened recently when ‘Supergirl’s’ Melissa Benoit met with televisions ‘Wonder Woman’ Lynda Carter.

Lynda Carter is to play the US President  in the forthcoming second season of ‘Supergirl’ and it has been one of the most hyped things about the new series.

Benoit who plays the girl of steel posted a backstage photo of herself with Carter who many remember for her iconic portrayal of ‘Wonder Woman’ in the hit series of the 1970’s.

As previously reported TV’s erstwhile Diana Prince will recur during Season 2 of The CW’s superhero import as the President of the United States.

Since relocating to Canada and The CW ‘Supergirl’ has made a number of significant casting decisions, which include ‘Teen Wolf‘s’ Tyler Hoechlin to guest-star as Superman.

Other new cast members include: Katie McGrath (Merlin) as Lena Luthor; ‘Cougar Town’ alum Ian Gomez as Kara’s new supervisor, Snapper Carr; Floriana Lima (The Family) as Science Crimes captain Maggie Sawyer; and ‘Containment‘s’ Chris Wood as Mon-El (aka the mystery pod’s passenger).

‘Supergirl’ Season 2 premieres Monday, Oct. 10 at 8/7c on The CW.
