‘Game Of Thrones’ star Gwendoline Christie has revealed that getting a role in the new ‘Star Wars’ film is a dream come true for her.

While speaking to the audience of this weekends San Diego Comic Con. Christie opened up about being a long time fan of ‘Star Wars’ and revealed her reaction to scoring herself a role in Episode VII.

She said: “That was a real, real dream come true.”

“That was like nothing you ever imagined,” she explained. “It’s so burnt into our minds. It’s burnt into my mind. I was shown those movies when I was a tiny little girl and then, to be a part of that thing that you held in such high regard, that’s been your escapism and your love and your entertainment and it’s been not just yours but everyone around you, I’m incredibly lucky. And it’s a lot of fun.”

At present Christie is not able to divulge anything about her character in the new ‘Star Wars’ film, but she has hinted a little about the continuation of her character in HBO’s ‘Game Of Thrones’.

Gwendoline said: “Brienne of Tarth may well continue to kick ass.”
