As viewers will recall the proverbial hit the fan at the tail end of the first season of ‘Person Of Interest’ and season four is going to show us much of the fall out from that.

At this weekends Comic Con fans were treated to a five minute long trailer for the fourth season, which sees Finch and Reese assuming new identities and leading relatively safe lives, but hiding and not serving a purpose doesn’t fall easy within Reese’s wheelhouse and the ruse soon become just that. A precursor to all out war.

During the Panel, which followed the trailer Executive Producer Greg Plageman gave fans a hint at how radically things are likely to be as Reese and Finch fight the good fight in order to continue their original mission.

“This season is about war. It’s a battle between two artificial intelligences. The first three seasons of the show dealt with Orwellian surveillance systems, now it’s a given. The only thing that’s different now is there’s another machine in charge. And I think all of our guys find themselves severely challenged in terms of communicating and organizing.”
