‘Snowpiercer’ TV Series In The Works

Josh Friedman tapped to write and exec produce series based on Titan Comics 'Snowpiercer'.

A couple of years back Titan Comics in the UK had a huge success with a comic book series titled ‘Snowpiercer’, which went onto become a big screen movie, which starred Chris Evans.

Now it looks like a TV series is in the works and the people pushing for it to be made are the same folks at  Tomorrow Studios and they have hired Josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Crossbones) to write and executive produce the show. Additional EPs include Becky Clements, the film’s writer-director Bong Joon Ho and producer Chan-wook Park.

If you are not familiar with the feature film or the comic book. ‘Snowpiercer’ is about a post-apocalyptic world in which the only survivors of humanity live on a globe-trotting train. The comic and movie centred on the relationships and class system that existed on the train and played up tensions between the wealthy and the working class.
