Sixth Season Of ‘Game Of Thrones’ Will Boggle Our Minds

Director Jack Bender has promised that the sixth season of ‘Game Of Thrones’ will be a mind boggling watch for the fans when the series returns next spring.

Indeed the series is now entering uncharted territory due to the fact that the series is now skipping ahead of George R.R. Martins book series, which means that every episode in the sixth season will be entirely original.

“[Showrunners] Dan Weiss and David Benioff are enormously brilliant and unpretentious guys, and I know they communicate closely [with Martin],” Bender told BGR.com.

Bender who is best known for having directed 38 episodes of ‘Lost’ for ABC will helm episodes 5 and 6 of the new series, but has revealed that he had turned the show down in the past.

Citing time commitments, he explained: “You have to commit to four-and-a-half to six months [for the shoot] because of the enormity of the episodes.”

Production on ‘Game of Thrones’ season six will arrive in Belfast in the coming weeks. New episodes will also be partly shot in Spain.

The series will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic in early 2016.
