‘Shazam’ Movie Could Happen Before 2019 According To Dwayne Johnson

Johnson has been connected with this movie for a number of years now. I actually remember reporting on it as early as 2010 if not before when it was revealed that Johnson would be playing Shazam's arch enemy The Black Adam.

Dwayne Johnson, who has done his fair share of action movies has revealed that we could be seeing a ‘Shazam’ movie based on the DC character at some point before 2019.

Johnson has been connected with this movie for a number of years now. I actually remember reporting on it as early as 2010 if not before when it was revealed that Johnson would be playing Shazam’s arch enemy The Black Adam.

Johnson, who is one of the main stars as the recent Fast and The Furious movie reckons that Warner Bros could likely put their ‘Shazam’ movie out before its 2019 due date.

“No, I don’t think it is going to be that far away,” he told ComicBook.com. “It’s going to be earlier than that. I don’t think [as late as] 2019.”

Johnson said that he has been preparing for eight years to play the film’s villain/anti-hero Black Adam.

Johnson can currently be seen in action/disaster movie ‘San Andreas’ alongside Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, Kylie Minogue and Paul Giamatti.
