SFP-Now chats with Former Star Trek: Enterprise Associate Producer Dave Rossi

Dave Rossi beams in to discus all things Star Trek with SFP-NOW

SFP-NOW the official podcast of scifipulse.net got the opportunity recently for a great discussion with Dave Rossi a former Associate Producer on Star Trek: Enterprise.

Rossi who started working on Star Trek as a production assistant during the fifth season of Star Trek: The Next Generation and went on to become Rick Berman’s assistant as well as the person in charge of special projects shares some fantastic stories about his time with Star Trek.

Among these stories is a cute one about Jonathan Frakes, which involves a letter and a phone call to an unsuspecting young fan. Dave also tells of his first meeting with Star Trek’s legendary make-up effects artist Michael Westmore.

Of course, our conversation touches on the J.J. Abrams movies as well as Star Trek: Discovery, but Dave also chats with me about the Star Trek animated series Excalibur, which very nearly went into production just prior to the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie being announced.

This is a show that Star Trek fans will not want to miss. Rossi tells a great many stories about his time with the various Star Trek series and we also get to talk about favorite episodes from the various Star Trek shows.

So why not open hailing frequencies by using the audio player included below to listen to some of the brilliant stories that Dave Rossi shares with us.
