The premier of ‘The Walking Dead’s’ seventh season is merely weeks away and as we get closer to the premier more and more information is being teased. In a recent interview British star Andrew Lincoln who plays Rick Grimes revealed some interesting things about the fate of his character in the forthcoming seventh season.

In season seven. It is very clear from what has been seen thus far. That Rick Grimes is not in a very good place.

“As the season finished, the story was about Rick being broken and realising that basically everything that he thought has been turned upside-down in the space pretty much of a day,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

“The world that he fought and strove for for so long has irrevocably changed.

“You meet a man who’s powerless, terrified for his own life and his son’s life, and everybody else beside him.

“And he realises that there’s a new world, a much bigger, scarier, and formidable world.”

Ricks bravado will cost him one of his closest friends when the season begins, with Negan punishing him by delivering a brutal beating to a currently-unknown victim.

But it looks like we could potentially see two victims if Greg Nicotero’s recent hints at his latest appearance is anything to go by.

“If we would have shown the deaths, then they wouldn’t have felt our characters in season seven the way they need to,” he said earlier this month.

That’s “deaths” plural.

So the question on every fans mind is… Who will die and who will survive.

One thing is certain. The new season will be packed with surprises as things continue to emulate.
